Nature Learning for Preschoolers

This product is currently sold out.

For children 3-4 years old.

With spring blooming, children are invited to explore and enjoy a nature-themed class based in their local community.  Each session will explore a theme: weather/climate, rocks/minerals, insects/mini beasts, and plants/seeds with the goal of gently introducing aspects of communal learning and increasing their curiosity about our natural surroundings.  Children will engage in song, read stories, evolve their skills through sensory motor learning, and gather in reflection.  Classes will be co-taught by an occupational therapist and a speech-language pathologist with activities designed to stimulate children’s development of social, language, visual/perceptual, fine motor, and sensory exploration skills.

This will be a great class for home schooling families and children that are not in a school program full time! Due to Covid restrictions, parents are not able to stay for class but should remain in close proximity to the village

***4 day series Monday through Thursday. Class runs August 2-5 from 9:45-10:30 am

*You may register here online or in store. Pre-registration is required.
